For my hubby
We chose to stand next to the R for my husband who decided to NOT come with us to California Adventure park. What a rude husband! Dylan, Ann and I had a fun time without him!
California Adventure
On Sunday, we decided to spend the day at California Adventure park. Since I've never been there, Ann took me and her cutie son, Dylan. My husband was supposed to go, but he decided to be a stick in the mud and stay home watching football, or some random sport on tv.

The highlight of my day was discovering this fantastic little bottle of sweetness!

If you like champagne...pour a little (or in my case, a lot) into the champagne flute, and you'll have a little party for your tastebuds.

Dylan
The smartest 2 year old I've met, to date. Plus, it doesn't hurt that he's ADORABLE. And super sweet. We're hoping one day, he'll be a movie star and support us for the rest of our lives. So if anyone is an agent or knows of an agent, send us some love so we can break Dylan into show business!
Let me name some of his talents....he can speak two languages, Vietnamese and English, he can break dance, count to 15 on his own, knows how to listen to his mother. I asked Dylan the other day..."Dylan, what's your mommy's name?" And he replied...."mother." he loves all things related to pirates. He's very good at entertaining himself. If we're driving in the car, he hardly ever cries. Only if he's sleeping and you wake him up will he cry...or if he drops his 'pen.' He has a good memory and learns things quickly. Plus, he's very debonair and knows how to make people feel special by wrapping his little arms around your neck, and hugging tight.
i heart dylan.

3 grandmas for the price of one
the one next to my hubby is my actual maternal grandmother. The other two ladies are her sisters or my great aunts. In Vietnamese, we call them grandmother, but in English, they're considered great aunts. My grandma is the oldest surviving kid from her family. The lady next to me, is her younger sister, and the one next to her is the baby sister. We call them Ba 7, Ba 8 and Ba 9, respectively. My Grandma is 88, Ba 8 is 86 and Ba 9 is 82. Ba 9 lives in France and flew all the way here just for my wedding. Made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. =) So I decided to blog about them. Because they're just so darn cute.

Our furbaby...and his arch nemesis, diamond.
So friggin cute these little guys are. The one in front right hand corner is my baby, Louis. This isn't his best picture, but he's distraught here because Diamond is chasing him around and Louis hates being chased by Diamond. They're both 100% purebreed malteses. Their daddy is a champion name blue diamond and they're originally from Orlando, Fl.
I love these little guys. Diamond's real home is in Las Vegas (as seen in picture) but since his daddy died (my FIL) his mom (MIL) has been staying with us in LA, thus, Louis has been living in pepetual anxiety. Poor baby.
If you're thinking about getting a pet...I would highly recommend a Maltese. We got Louis when he was 10 weeks old and he is the most loyal dog ever.

a close up of Louis.

more pics from our honeymoon
Is it bad to have a buzz at 10 in the morning?
Not if you're on your honeymoon! and especially not if you have a champagne brunch included in your room rate every day. =) I love me some mimosa. But sometimes, I'll take it without the oj. If you're thinking about going to Grand Cayman, I would highly recommend staying at the Ritz-Carlton. They have a private beach with cool loungers and a canopy to use if the weather is unbearable.

My engagement photos
It was such a fun day...actually, it started out crappy. I didn't know if the makeup girl, Mellody Vere (please email me if you want her contact info, she did a fabulous job,) was going to come do my makeup trial or not. So I put on my own makeup only to have her call me and say she was stuck on the 405 in traffic, at 11 am on a Friday evening. So odd. Anyway...since she was coming, I had to go wash my face of the makeup I did. But once we were on the road to pasadena, all was good and the rest of the day went really well. The pictures took us approximately 1 1/2 hours and I think it turned out great. I'm bias, though. They're pictures of me and my hunny, after all. Anyway...without furthur adieu...here's the link to our engagement pictures!

I don't understand why I can't get a hyper link up. So annoying!
